Actrua is an award-winning business that develops people culture and performance. Looking for a brand refresh, we worked closely with Good Armada and their marketing strategy for Actrua, to develop a new look for their brand identity.
Bold, colourful and playful were the keywords for the new visual ident to encompass. The Actrua logo and smile motif were to remain.
A new colour palette was created, keeping the original hero accent yellow and slate grey as the base as the company was well recognised by these colours. Additional new accent colours of bright bold blue, green, orange and pink were added to extend the palette and represent each of the unique brand pillars. Tonal support colours were added to each of the hero accent colour sets to create interest and contrast in visual communications.
A new typeface was assigned to the hero brand. This was simple serif, with a variety of weights used to create interest in visual communication.
A series of shapes were developed to use with the visual layouts and typography, coupled with icons supplied from Good Armada. This created an overall fun, friendly and expressive visual ident for the new brand look.
Following the development of a comprehensive brand guide, visual layout samples and execution, a company PowerPoint template was created for all staff to use.
