This design was to be for City of Sydney’s 2021 Lunar New Year event tender, celebrating the Year of the Ox.
Approach
The concept was formed around the silhouette of the 2021 Ox and its lucky flora and fauna colours of evergreen and cherry blossoms. The design follows a type lockup that is half white and half coloured, representing the colours of an ox. A series of graphic visuals were designed for print and digital applications based on the hero artwork concept.
